The next morning...

The next morning I took out their curlers and yes, Kya is wearing makeup. She is really girly and requested some. We put on eyeshadow and a little bronzing blush...she actually took over the blush brush and did that herself. I sent her home with one of my extra brushes because she loved it so much. The girls are posing with the posters I got for their birthdays...of which they just happen to have found on accident. They still have to wait until their birthdays to take them home.

Kya is funny. She changes moods very fast. I wasn't able to do more with her hair beyond taking out the curlers and separating the curls. She put the headband in her own hair. She also wouldn't let me get many photos of her "makeover". She wasn't really in the mood.

Kari, however wanted pictures taken and kept posing for me. It was cute! Kari's hair turned out really pretty! She has thick hair and it held the curls really well. She is not wearing any make-up.

Later, Kari and Kya's parents came to get them. My mom came over also and we all ate breakfast. It was good! Too, bad we all had to squish around my little table. It worked out okay though.

Sleepover!

We did nails and added curlers to hair. Before bed the girls decided they were hungry. Probably because they eat like birds the rest of the day. :)...They really enjoyed watching "The Best Sleeping Beauty Ever"!!! (It's a inside joke- my family members will know what the movie is.)

I upgraded my phone this week...

I chose a phone based on features that I wanted plus price. I kind of wanted to get the Dare but worried that it would be easier for my to break...since I keep a lot of stuff in my scrub pockets for work. I ended up getting the Gleam. I didn't really play with the phone much until after it was purchased. I came to find out about an hour later that I totally had gotten a man-phone. I think it's pretty funny actually. It has features like a car with a menu like a dash board. The living wallpaper feature is best described as vertually driving down a road in the city or country. Plus, when I get messages the phone honks at me. (Which just so happened that I received a text as I as making a U-turn the day I got the phone. I was right by a police car and the honking noise startled me! I pretty much stopped mid turn and rechecked around me for cars.) The main complaint I have with the phone is that it didn't come with good ring tones. I'm sure most phones are like that now, though. It's a ploy to make people spend more money. My last phone that I got 2plus years ago had great ring tones. I never had to download any. The Gleam lives up to it's name as it is very shiny gold plated with black and silver keys.

Matching dresses from Christmas!

I took this picture tonight after family dinner at my mom's house. The girls were so cute in their matching dresses that my mom gave them for Christmas! It's always amazing when I can get them all to smile at the same time for a photo. My trick is that I have a screen that I can swivel out and turned to face them. They sure like to look at themselves.
